About
Samantha (Sam) Holtz is a sophomore at Chagrin Falls High School who enjoys art, diving, and spending time with her dogs. Photography has always been a part of her life as her mother and sister are passionate about the subject. Through travel across the globe, Sam has become accustomed to photography. Whether hiking the Inca Trail or trekking through the Sahara desert, she loves looking for a unique shot. Though she has worked with mostly disposable and point & shoot cameras, she is intrigued to explore different photography mediums.
Sam applies her art in many different forms as well. She enjoys spending her free time sketching, painting, crocheting, knitting, and making jewelry. Sam's favorite medium is graphite, however, she is always willing to attempt different art forms. No matter what Sam creates, she aspires to show emotion and curiosity through her art. She is currently taking Drawing Portfolio Prep and is eager to start her AP Portfolio.
Numerous works by Sam have been entered into the Chagrin Falls High School Art Exhibition, through her drawing, computer graphics, and digital fabrication classes.
